Guild Meetings
The Purpose of our weekly meetings is to provide social frameworks for the teens to lean on in their personal development journey. We try to keep them fun, educational, and active.

Ranks
-
Teens progress through Medieval ranks of Knighthood as they complete self-development homework, including reading books, personal growth projects, and mentor assigned challenges
-
Each Rank comes with a reward culminating at the top with a sword.
Team Building Games/Simulations
-
Team building games are structured challenges or exercises that encourage communication, problem-solving, and relationship building among team members.
-
Simulations are when we create a scenario, like the sinking of the titanic with only a few seats on a lifeboat, and the teens get to problem solve and collaborate in morally and physically complex situations.

Support Group
-
The teens have an opportunity every week to talk about their lives, their highs and their lows, and to seek counsel and support from their peers.
-
This time is also used to report on their progress through the medieval ranks of knighthood with their self-development homework.
Lessons
-
Each week the Mentor will teach a lesson or principle of self-development.
-
The lesson can be on such topics as Motivation Theory, The 6 Human Needs, the 5 Love Languages, or PERMA Theory of Well Being.
-
These lessons will increase the emotional literacy of the teens and help them to better understand themselves and others.
